hahaha i swear i know which girls you mean – we were at the shuffle doing our thing behind the most annoying and frustrating group of girls, they stopped at every camera whether the camera person wanted them to or not! As they were walking away from a group of cameras they were discussing that their awesomeness (and the fact that all these photos were being taken of them!) was based on the fact they are makeup students (and obviously awesome). Two then turned around, saw my partners face and screamed (my partner looked awesome always does and has no makeup experience) that moment for us made the shuffle this year!!

Thanks for the reply! It looks v. v. Mrs Lovett!! I'm dressing up as her for my 21st so I am hoping to find something… but it looks like I'm going to have to make one… or get it made. :S I'm terrible at sewing. Alas! Thanks

I've been making historical costumes for years. This one isn't really what you could call historical though. Although I usually make things from scratch, this one I bought some pieces from a Japanese retailer… I had to make extensive alterations to it (which is why I'm not telling you who exactly, no need for them to get publicity).. it wound up being just as much work (probably more) than just making it myself. All's well that ends well, though!
